The new directors for Daredevil: Born Again are busy getting ready to lead the show, which Marvel Studios decided needed a fresh start. They were not happy with the progress of the series, which had only finished less than half of the planned 18 episodes due to strikes by writers and actors.
Marvel Studios replaced the original writers and directors with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who have experience in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In a recent interview, Benson and Moorhead mentioned that they are in the early stages of preparing for the show, still learning about the Daredevil character by studying various Daredevil content, including the Netflix series.
The directors emphasized that they are watching not only the Netflix show but also exploring other Daredevil material. They are particularly interested in plot arcs like the trial of the White Tiger and Wilson Fisk’s role as the mayor of New York City. Fans can expect to see these storylines in the upcoming series.
While Daredevil: Born Again is still in the works and may take some time, fans can catch Daredevil in the “Echo” series on January 10, 2024. The new “Daredevil: Born Again” series will eventually be released on Disney Plus
